Student Murdered In Cold Blood For Refusing To Give Up His Air Jordans

19-year old Richmond, Virginia teenager named Willie Daquan Lee has been sentenced to 44 years in prison for shooting, and killing, a Virginia Union student.

The latest case of sneaker-related violence features the most extreme of cases; a student was murdered in cold blood for refusing to give up his Air Jordans. According to reports, the teen attempted to rob 20-year old Kahron M. Lee (not related) of his Js, and shot him in the back when he tried to run.




It seems like we're seeing a story like this every other week, but people are still doing outlandish things to get their hands on a new pair of sneakers.

This news comes just before Black Friday, and one of the most anticipated sneaker releases- The 'Black/Infrared' Air Jordan 6. There's no telling what some folks are willing to do for a pair of $170 sneakers.
