AY Makun and wife Mabel married on Saturday, November 29, 2008. The marriage is blessed with a daughter.

ASUU begs parents not to send children back to school yet.

FORTY eight hours to the deadline given by the Federal Government to striking university lecturers to resume classes or be sacked, the union has remained adamant, advising parents not to risk the lives of their children by sending them to the campuses.

The Presidency, on its part accused ASUU leaders of treachery and warned the university lecturers not to dare the resolve of government to carry out its threat to sack them if they failed to resume.

The Senate President, David Mark has also cautioned the Federal Government over the threat to sack the striking lecturers just as the All Progressives Congress (APC) slammed the government for issuing the threat.

APGA dedicates victory to Ojukwu.

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has said it was dedicating the victory of its candidate in Anambra governorship poll, Dr. Willie Obiano, to the late leader of the party, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

This came as jubilant youths and women took to the streets and community squares in Anambra State Sunday, following the declaration of Chief Willie Obiano, the candidate of APGA as the winner of the governorship election in the state.

The party also announced the adoption of President Goodluck Jonathan as its Presidential candidate for 2015 apparently in appreciation of his support for the party in the governorship contest.

Leaders of the party, including the National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, Governor Peter Obi and the Governor-elect, Dr. Willie Obiano made these known while briefing newsmen, at the Governor’s Lodge, Awka, where they expressed gratitude to the people of the state for renewing the party’s tenure in the state.

Governor Obi who expressed gratitude to President Jonathan for his tremendous support to the state, which made the governorship election very successful said that APGA  would reciprocate the gesture

Tonto Dikeh’s Super Rich Bf Micheal Awolaja Was Deported From Dublin.

A Dublin operated website is hinting that actress Tonto Dikeh’s mega rich boyfriend Michael Awolaja is a DEPORTEE from Dublin, Republic of Ireland… However the website fails to provide written or documented proof and the report is flat… As flat as my nose.

 

According to the report,Michael may have three children from two baby mama ” he was dating a dancer from Belfast and was a former Tesco shelf packer. Rumour has it that he has two children in 

 Dublin and one in Belfast. He was kicked out of his friend’s apartment because he couldn’t pay his rent. He was known amongst his peers as an “ODU” guy”

 

The report tenders n proof as to why and when Mr Awolaja was deported but goes on further to tell us that ”He loves his fashion so much, he couldn’t do without his face cap and various designs of Timberland.

 

According to his Instagram page @malivelihood” Michael Awolaja is an “Agent to the Stars, Luxury Designer, Entrepreneur, Business Man, Fashionista and  Jeweller” ..

 

Tonto Dikeh won the award for best actress of the year (ELOY Awards) and while she came on stage to receive her award she took the opportunity to thank every one of her friends, fans and most especially her boyfriend, Michael Awolaja.

 

It is good and interesting to see that Michael is now well established and doing well in Nigeria.

Wale paid his first visit to Nigeria since he was born and he was so happy and overly excited about coming down here.  He also got to perform for the first time in his homeland, Nigeria.
Another memorable thing about his performance in Nigeria was that his father, Mr. Akintimehin was there to witness his son’s performance. Wale took a second during his performance to give a shoutout to his dad.

Pastor Chris Okotie openly condemns Catholics.

In this shocking report by PM news, pastor Okotie of HouseHold of God Church openly condemned catholics during his sermon last week.

        ''All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil.

       

 They are not Christians and have never been. They don’t know Jesus. They believe that

when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual. The pope is an Anti-Christ and the Catholic church will soon declare for Satan. This is the end of times..

“They don’t believe in heaven. They believe in purgatory, the purgatory that they invented,” Okotie said.

 “That church, the Catholic church has been there for Satan and at the right time, they will declare for Satan,”Okotie said.

 He said Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ who does the job of the devil and that time is fast approaching when the Catholic church will pledge allegiance to Satan.

He advised members of his church to come to the rescue of Catholics and evangelise them.

This, he said, was not out of disrespect but out of respect for the word of God.

He said those who know the truth should bring it to those who do not know it in the Catholic Church.

He said Catholics are not Christians and do not worship the same Christ that he preaches in his church, at least the one spoken about in the Bible.

Okotie said he did not write the Bible but it was clear to him that those in the Catholic church were lost and were heading to hell fire.

Okotie who has been married twice and divorced also twice said a beauty pageant will take place in his church next Sunday to select the most beautiful woman in his church.

Why I married Peter despite the age difference- Lola Omotayo Okoye.

Peter Okoye of P’Square and Lola Omotayo’s love story is compelling and amazing. The couple have been in a relationship for over eight years before they finally tied the knot on Sunday, November 17, 2013.
There has been a lot of talk and whispers about their marriage, the family issues and the fact that Lola is by far older than Peter Okoye has been trending. But why did she decide to marry someone who’s her junior?
Below is Lola Omotayo’s stand on their age difference…
Lola, who was a Business Development Director at FKG2m a marketing agency in Lagos, had told the story of how she and Peter met and how the relationship started:

“My agency handles some of British American Tobacco brands and P’Square was doing a show for us at one of our events in Enugu. Though I had met Peter a couple of times before then, at the show there was some chemistry.

He asked for my number and I refused giving it to him. I told him ‘if you really want to know me, you have to find my number’. So he took it as a task and found my number and the rest is history.”

Lola, said to be in her 30s then and Peter in his 20s, was not disturbed by the age difference. Her reason:

“Like I said, Peter is an old soul and he always tells me that I’m like a 23-year-old. Age is just a number. Right now, you can see it around the world. Demi Moore, Usher and some known people. Even in Nigeria here, they are dating people far older than their age. So, we shouldn’t base it on the age factor. He doesn’t make me feel like he’s younger than me.”

Cold war between Kate Henshaw and Genevieve.

The age-long feud between A-list actresses, Genevieve Nnaji and Kate Henshaw has not died down and found its way into the venue of Peter Okoye and Lola Omotayo’s traditional wedding.

I just heard that the two superstars were seated on the same table. But somehow they managed to avoid each other and did not even acknowledge each other’s presence.

Fast and Furious actor, Pau Walker dies in a ghastly auto-crash.

This life is really vanity. Woke up this morning to a very sad news that the 40 year old Fast  and Furious star, Paul Walker died in a fatal car crash in a Porsche driven by a friend who also died on Saturday. He was attending an event in Los Angeles for the benefit of his Charity Organization Reach Out Worldwide which sends first responders to scenes of Natural disasters . He and a friend decided to go for a spin in the red porsche when the car flew off the road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames immediately.They were trapped and burnt badly beyond recognition..

It's so ironical that he died in a fast car considering his Fast and Furious role was all about fast cars and speed... Talk about life imitating art... He survived by a 15 year old daughter named Meadow.

May his soul rest in peace...
