Nigerian Idol 2014 Winner Evelle Vows To Pay Tithe, Dedicates Victory To God

Nigerian Idol 2014 Winner Zibili Evelyn, Evelle Narrates How God Helped Her Win, Vows To Pay Tithe Whoever is Evelle’s pastor should be smiling to the bank very soon because for the singer, the need to show gratitude to God is paramount. Evelle says the first thing she would do is pay her tithes and then she’d get down to doing good music.
“I held God by the neck for this victory so I’m going to pay my tithes,” Evelle says on her immediate plans, “and then I’m going to make more music because I believe that more music means more peace, more joy, more love and more of everything positive you can think of.
“Music can actually give you so much joy and a lot more. And that’s what I’m going to be doing because I need to extend my music and my message to the whole world,” she adds flashing a row of perfect teeth as another bright smile
“I just said to myself, ‘okay Evelle, for you to win you need to get more people to vote for you; I knew I needed God. So I went to God in prayer and I told Him, ‘Baba, I don’t know how this is going to happen but I want to give my best shot and I want you to help me do this. Even those that are voting for my opponents would be compelled to vote for me this time’,” she says with the sound of joyful laughter ringing loudly.

Nollywood veteran actor and Delta State Commissioner for Culture & Tourism, Richard Mofe-Damijo has reacted to the rumour running wild on the social media that his health is deteriorating and needs serious prayers to battle the unknown condition.
What else do you need? You saw me on stage, did I look sick? People are probably so disappointed to see me looking so much better they want the news to be true.
Unfortunately for them, I am in the best shape of my life” said the Nollywood actor who anchored the Night of Tributes for Amaka Igwe at the Haven in Ikeja on Monday. RMD told Vanguard's Weekend Groove: “Have you not taken photos of me. It amazes me how people cling to bad news. I am a public servant in Delta State, I go to work every day. I am not sick.

Some Of The Chib0k School Girls Will Never Return, Some Will Give Birth In Sambisa Forest!” – Obasanjo
Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed fears that the more than 200 abdu’cted school girls, who were kidn-apped about 2 months ago in Ch!b0k while at school, might never return again. That instead, the terr-or group would release some of the girls that might be pregnant and finding it difficult to cater for their babies in the forest.
Punch reports that Obasanjo during an interview on the Hausa Service of the British Broadcasting Corporation said:
“I believe that some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now. Some will give birth, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may be released.”
Obasanjo, during the interview, also revealed that he has a communication link with Boko Haram, that he could reach out to the violent Islamic sect over the abd*ct!on of the school girls, but regretted that the Federal Government is yet to give him the go ahead.

Witchcraft: Woman Paralysed After She Offered Her Husband For Initiation
A 42-year-old housewife named Awulika Igbenoba in Ekuku Agbor Delta State is now paying the price for getting involved with witchcraft. She had allegedly offered her husband for witchcraft initiation so they'd get rich and now she is facing the wrath of the community’s gods. According to report, after the woman's husband was sacked from a private company where he was working, the family had been been trying to make ends meet. Anwulika, the mother of four was said to have sought assistance from members of a meeting she belonged to and that's how she was introduced to native doctor in Kwale community in the state. She was allegedly given a charm by the native doctor which she used in preparing a meal and after she and her husband ate it, they suddenly found themselves in the witchcraft coven. Leadership reports that two months after the alleged initiation, two of her children died mysteriously in their sleep. After which she was hit with a strange ailment which has left both of her legs completely paralysed. While confessing to her evil act, on the evening of Tuesday, June 10 in the community she said, “I was introduced by the president of our meeting to a man in Kwale community who prepared a charm for me to put in the meal that was later served for my husband, after taking the meal I found myself and my husband in their meeting far away on top of the trees where it was decided that before I am given what I am looking for I should offer my two children for a sacrifice”. However, an elder statesman in the community said the community is happy that the woman's charm backfired, returning the evil to her family. It would be recalled that last month an old woman escaped being lynched in Ajegunle area of Lagos state after she allegedly transformed from a bird to a woman and confessed to being a witch.

President Jonathan is after my life and He is also behind Crisis in Kano – Kwankaso
The governor says he has “credible information” that the president is behind the crisis in Kano State.
Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, on Wednesday accused President Goodluck Jonathan of plotting to eliminate him, in a fresh twist to a longstanding row between the two leaders.
In an exclusive interview with PREMIUM TIMES Wednesday, Mr. Kwankwaso said the president was after his life and had ordered the withdrawal of half of his security details in a ploy to open him up to physical attacks. “I have told my friends, and people of Kano, Nigerians and indeed the international community to hold Jonathan responsible for whatever happens to Kwankwaso, his family or even the people of Kano state,” Mr. Kwankwaso said at Kano State governor’s lodge in Abuja.
7 Things to Be Grateful for in Life
When times are hard, it can be difficult to find things to be thankful for. We often spend a lot of time complaining about the things we don’t have or thinking about the things we want to have in future, and forget about those things we have now. If you feel down, you should remind yourself that things will certainly get better soon and you actually are a happy person. One of the best ways to do that is to write down a list of all the things you are grateful for. Here are some of them:
1. Your family
Even if you have a difficult relationship with your parents, you should be thankful for your family. Whether you come from a small quiet family or a big noisy one, remember that these people truly love you, even if they don’t show it. They will always be ready to help you in any situation.

Topic: Justin Bieber Detained At LAX Airport After Returning From Japan
Oh no! Justin Bieber has been detained by U.S. customs officials at LAX Airport after flying in from Japan on April 24.Justin Bieber, 20, hit a speed bump while returning from his recent trip to Japan with mom Pattie Malletteand a few friends. U.S. customs agents at Los Angeles International Airport are reportedly doing a secondary customs search on the embattled singer is he in trouble again?
Justin has been released after being detained at immigration at LAX for four hours, Splash Newsreports. The Biebs was in surprisingly good spirits, smiling and sticking his tongue out as he was greeted by a throng of photographers and fans at the airport. The scene was chaotic as he made his way through the crowd, flanked by his bodyguards, one of whom directed Justin by holding him by the scruff of his neck.Justin has been detained but its because of his recent run-ins with the law, rather than for some new offense.
Justin and his entourage landed in Los Angeles at approximately 1 p.m. PST on April 24, but his friends, his ride and his baggage were still waiting outside for him as of 4 p.m. PST.
Meanwhile, the Believe singer was being questioned about his open criminal cases, including his Miami DUI arrest, his egg-throwing incident involving his neighbor, and his misdemeanor assault case in Toronto.
But the customs officials giving Justin the third degree is simply procedure because of his hefty criminal record, and it doesnt mean that hes facing any new charges,The 2001 Patriot Act, signed by formerPresident George Bushand extended by current President Barack Obama, gives custom officials the broad authority to flag travelers arriving from a foreign country when they have an active criminal case or a conviction,Mychal explains. Presumably, Justin Bieber is on the Homeland Security watch list due to the various pending criminal charges against him. Yikes! That is definitely not a list you want to be on, but were relieved that Justin doesnt seem to be in any new trouble.Hopefully, Justin Bieber has been following and learning from fellow recording artist Chris Brown s legal troubles so that they both are not traveling on Con Air for their respective upcoming trials,Mychal adds.
Justin Bieber Surprises Japanese Orphans During Asia Visit
Justin may be a bad boy in the eyes of the law, but hes still a hero to millions of fans across the world including the group of young children that he surprised at a Japanese orphanage on April 23.
Justin unexpectedly stopped by the orphanage to play with the children, and later shared a sweet video of his visit on Instalgram.Visited a Japanese orphanage.. Love these kids!Justin captioned the clip.
We love seeing this softer side of Justin, and we hope he will continue to do good deeds like this and stay out of trouble!

Breaking News:- Local Hunters RESCUE Over 80 Female Students Abducted In Borno By Boko Haram
According to report, the girls who
were kidnapped during a raid by the insurgents on Monday night, April 14, 2014,
were rescued on Tuesday and Wednesday morning by a group of vigilante, local
hunters and soldiers.
As fate would have it, after
kidnapping the girls and putting them in tipper lorries, they got stuck in the
bush while they were trying to crossover some muddy area between Chibok and
Askira/Uba.
Some of the girls were said to have
jumped out of the lorry and ran for their lives.
Speaking on the incident, one of the
rescued girl’s father, Malam Ali Iliya said, his daughter told him that when
they got stuck, the insurgents allowed those who jumped out escape and they did
not shoot at them, adding that those who could not run either as a result of
fear or wound are still with them in the bush.
The girls who escaped were found
scattered in the bush by vigilante and local hunters.
Malm Ali said:-
“Some of them were wounded, some
were with fracture, which I believe was as a result of jumping from the high
vehicle, but we are happy that our children have been rescued.
“Now we are praying for those who
are still with the Boko Haram; our prayer is that every father will have his
child back.”
According to his daughter, the
abductors were over a hundred in number and the abducted girls were 243 as they
were asked to count themselves.
He added that his daughter Hajara
was sound and healthy but weak.
Meanwhile, the governor of Borno
State, Kashim Shettima today promised to give N50 million to any individual or
group that would volunteer credible information on the whereabouts of the
abducted girls.
The Boko Haram insurgents have been
wrecking havoc across the country. Sometime in February, the insurgents had
attacked a Federal Government College, Buni Yadi, Yobe State, killing many
students.
