Tiwa Savage's Husband Attacks Photo Journalist; Smashes His Camera!

Tiwa Savage‘s husband, Tunji ‘T-Billz’ Balogun is again in the news, but this time it’s not about the couple’s highly celebrated wedding, but about T-Billz having attacked a photo-journalist.

For allegedly taking pictures against his will, the 323 Entertainment boss snatched the camera in front of several witnesses and crashed it in on the floor. Reportedly the lens and other accessories in the camera were damaged.

The incident, which happened last Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Façade Thai Restaurant, Bishop Aboyade Cole, Victoria Island, Lagos raised a few eyebrows as the photographer and some guests challenged and condemned T-Bill’s actions, while querying the photographer for shooting without permission.

According to the eyewitnesses, T-billz who was at the venue the birthday of musician Sound Sultan “angrily attacked the photo-journalist, snatching his camera and breaking it for taking pictures of him”.

The photo-journalist Victor Obot also known as Elejo, when contacted, denied directing the camera at

Anambra State PDP Chairman, kidnapped.

According to the Punch:

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State, Mr. Ken Emeakayi, was kidnapped on Monday by unknown gunmen.

Emeakayi was said to be returning to Awka from his village in Okija when his car was intercepted at Anyafulujiji Junction, Nri by his assailants.

The Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, Mr. Usman Gwary, told our correspondent on telephone that he had not been briefed about the incident.

But a source close to the PDP chairman said the story was true. He said contact had not been made yet with the family by the kidnappers.

Cybercriminals create advanced computer virus which can steal money from any bank account in any country.

 

 

A team of Russian cybercriminals have created a computer virus so sophisticated it can steal the money from any bank account in any country.Called the Neverquest Trojan, it lies hidden on malicious websites or infected computers and can steal the usernames and passwords for people’s online banking accounts.

Once it has access to these accounts it can empty them completely and is so advanced, security experts are warning that traditional antivirus software isn't enough to keep users protected.This is because the Trojan has been designed to contain ‘just about every possible trick’ known to hackers to avoid being caught and disabled

 

According to security firm Kaspersky Lab, Neverquest has already made ‘several thousand attempts’ to infect computers and is targeting some of the world’s biggest banks and investment companies.

A total of 28 major websites are under threat and Fidelity Investments is the main target

Once a computer is infected, Neverquest can record the usernames and passwords to online bank accounts and this information is then sent to anonymous hackers who can then use these to details to gain access to the accounts

After gaining access to a user’s account, cybercriminals make transactions and transfer money from the user to their own accounts or - to keep the trail from leading directly to them - to the accounts of other victims.

Kaspersky Lab also said that protection against threats such as Neverquest requires more than ‘just standard antivirus’ and advises customers to be extra vigilant to make sure they only access official sites and don’t store passwords in cookies, or on their computers. Browsers should be kept up to date, too.

ASUU begs parents not to send children back to school yet.

FORTY eight hours to the deadline given by the Federal Government to striking university lecturers to resume classes or be sacked, the union has remained adamant, advising parents not to risk the lives of their children by sending them to the campuses.

The Presidency, on its part accused ASUU leaders of treachery and warned the university lecturers not to dare the resolve of government to carry out its threat to sack them if they failed to resume.

The Senate President, David Mark has also cautioned the Federal Government over the threat to sack the striking lecturers just as the All Progressives Congress (APC) slammed the government for issuing the threat.

APGA dedicates victory to Ojukwu.

The All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, has said it was dedicating the victory of its candidate in Anambra governorship poll, Dr. Willie Obiano, to the late leader of the party, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

This came as jubilant youths and women took to the streets and community squares in Anambra State Sunday, following the declaration of Chief Willie Obiano, the candidate of APGA as the winner of the governorship election in the state.

The party also announced the adoption of President Goodluck Jonathan as its Presidential candidate for 2015 apparently in appreciation of his support for the party in the governorship contest.

Leaders of the party, including the National Chairman, Chief Victor Umeh, Governor Peter Obi and the Governor-elect, Dr. Willie Obiano made these known while briefing newsmen, at the Governor’s Lodge, Awka, where they expressed gratitude to the people of the state for renewing the party’s tenure in the state.

Pastor Chris Okotie openly condemns Catholics.

In this shocking report by PM news, pastor Okotie of HouseHold of God Church openly condemned catholics during his sermon last week.

        ''All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil.

Why I married Peter despite the age difference- Lola Omotayo Okoye.

Peter Okoye of P’Square and Lola Omotayo’s love story is compelling and amazing. The couple have been in a relationship for over eight years before they finally tied the knot on Sunday, November 17, 2013.
There has been a lot of talk and whispers about their marriage, the family issues and the fact that Lola is by far older than Peter Okoye has been trending. But why did she decide to marry someone who’s her junior?

Lola, who was a Business Development Director at FKG2m a marketing agency in Lagos, had told the story of how she and Peter met and how the relationship started:

“My agency handles some of British American Tobacco brands and P’Square was doing a show for us at one of our events in Enugu. Though I had met Peter a couple of times before then, at the show there was some chemistry.

He asked for my number and I refused giving it to him. I told him ‘if you really want to know me, you have to find my number’. So he took it as a task and found my number and the rest is history.”

Lola, said to be in her 30s then and Peter in his 20s, was not disturbed by the age difference. Her reason:

“Like I said, Peter is an old soul and he always tells me that I’m like a 23-year-old. Age is just a number. Right now, you can see it around the world. Demi Moore, Usher and some known people. Even in Nigeria here, they are dating people far older than their age. So, we shouldn’t base it on the age factor. He doesn’t make me feel like he’s younger than me.”

Fast and Furious actor, Pau Walker dies in a ghastly auto-crash.

This life is really vanity. Woke up this morning to a very sad news that the 40 year old Fast  and Furious star, Paul Walker died in a fatal car crash in a Porsche driven by a friend who also died on Saturday. He was attending an event in Los Angeles for the benefit of his Charity Organization Reach Out Worldwide which sends first responders to scenes of Natural disasters . He and a friend decided to go for a spin in the red porsche when the car flew off the road, crashed into a tree and burst into flames immediately.They were trapped and burnt badly beyond recognition..

It's so ironical that he died in a fast car considering his Fast and Furious role was all about fast cars and speed... Talk about life imitating art... He survived by a 15 year old daughter named Meadow.

May his soul rest in peace...

A man believed to be in his 70s, who claimed to be a wizard, was on Wednesday found on the banks of the Okrudu River at Kaimebre, a settlement near the Kasoa New Market in the Central Region Ghana.

The man, who gave his name as Charles Atta, looked frail, pale and bore protruding breasts like that of a teenage girl.His body was smeared with mud from the bank of the river where he was found by two brothers, Liberty Obeng and Innocent Obeng, who claimed they found the strange man crying for help.

The two brothers told Daily Guide reporters that the self-acclaimed wizard confessed to them that he was in the company of colleagues, including a medical doctor and were flying to Cape Coast for a meeting when he was forced down.According to him, they were flying over a church where an all-night vigil was being held when he crash- landed at Servant Kings International School.

“When we asked him where he was coming from, Atta told us that he was from Akuapem Akropong but was flying to Cape Coast to attend a meeting for witches and wizards,” he said.

Charles also confessed that the two puffy protrusions on his chest were breasts taken from his 16-year- old granddaughter and that he normally borrowed them for his night activities.The two brothers said they were initially confused and bewildered by the weird sight of the man, and not knowing what to do him took him to Pink FM, a local radio station at Kasoa for help.

When the strange announcement was made on radio, hundreds of people besieged the premises of the radio station to see the suspected wizard.Upon hearing the news, the Kasoa District Police dispatched a number of police personnel to the station to save the victim from being lynched.Superintendent Samuel Tabril Punobyin told the paper that the police did not investigate spiritual matters and that the suspected wiz-ard could therefore not be charged.

He said the police would look for the family of the man and hand him over to them. Charles Atta is still in the custody of the Kasoa Police

Empress Njamah comments on Timaya's diss for her.

I'm not a fan of Empress Njama oh! But I must commend her very matured reply to her Ex, Timaya who recently went ranting in an interview, saying that dating Empress had a negative impact on his music career.

Punch recently contacted the actress to speak on Timaya’s comments. In the phone conversation, she revealed “People who are mature can depict what is true and what is not. I am not ready to say anything.”

On if the comment bothers her: “Why would it bother me? It is one thing to be hurt over such statement and another thing to be disappointed. I wasn’t hurt and I wasn’t even disappointed. Worst things have been said and written about me but the people who know who I am would tell the difference.”

She also revealed that she is more interested in her life at the moment rather than talking about “what doesn’t make sense”.

“I am more involved with my birthday and celebrating it with the orphans and the less privileged. I am better off talking about this than to talk about what is not important. I am too busy making money. People who know you will always know how positive you have affected their lives. I am surrounded by so many people who have shown me love so there is no reason for me to be pained.”

Oh please, don’t drag me into that. All I can say is that if a person needs to see a doctor, he should be free to do so. I like the young man. He has been defending himself on the internet. Is he not enjoying a better life now? Are things not working for him?

On allegations he pays people to fake miracles 

 How much will I give to the president of a nation to come here? Even when they come, I don’t get any financial gain but I incur cost because I want to ensure that they are well cared for. That is all; I even prefer to spend my time with the poor than to be with the presidents. If a president visits this place today, the whole of the day will be devoted to that visit, I would have lesser time for the poor people, who need my attention. God has been warning me over this trend so much that when some presidents said that they wanted to visit me, I said no.

 I said it would be better for me to visit them in their countries. Each time they visit this place, I receive query from God because of my time that should have been used to attend to the poor and the needy that are waiting for me. One soul is not superior to the other, why should I continue to receive query? Really out of three presidents that may visit, there will hardly be one that will show good example of the counsel that they received from me. If the needy are more receptive to God, it is better to give them more of my time.

RMD's first son to get married in December.

It's finally been confirmed. The veteran actor's (Richard Mofe-dammi) son will be tying the knots with his sweetheart, Eniola this coming December.

On Thursday, December 12, 2013 all roads will lead to the Grandeur Event center, 17 Billing way, off Mobolaji Johnson Avenue, Oregun, Ikeja for the traditional marriage.

Saheed Balogun drags ex-wife, Fathia Balogun to court over refusal to drop his name.

 
They were the picture perfect couple especially in the Yoruba movie scene...Years after their separation, Saheed Balogun has reportedly dragged Fathia Balogun to court for refusal to drop his name. According to Vanguard, he had wanted her to drop his last name along time ago but she was adamant. He said

“She is my ex. As for my name that she is still answering, the deed will be done soon. The Nigerian law says that after three or four years, you can do something about it. If somebody wants to keep my name, what of the new person coming in? This has nothing to do with grudges.”

However, When asked after their publicized split Fathia said 

 I laugh, my name is Fathia Balogun and it’s going to remain Balogun; nobody can ever change that and nobody can stop me from answering that name.” 

Lol but is there anything wrong if she wants to keep the name?
