Kanye keeps pissing everyone off with his rants. The latest has to do with his 2 grammy nominations for  Yeezus album Best Rap Album and Best Rap Song. He aired his mind during his concert in Phoenix, Ariz

I would have rather had no nominations.'Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys, I’m 36-years-old and I have 21 Grammys.That’s the most Grammys of any 36-year-old. Out of all those 21 Grammys, I’ve never won a Grammy against a white artist. Now let’s bring it back to the Michael Jackson days when he couldn’t get his video to be played because he was "urban". 

What are they trying to say?.Did they think that I wouldn’t notice? Do they think that, someway, I don’t have the power to completely diminish all of their credibility at this moment?

Earlier this week, he threw a fan out off his San Antonio, Texas, concert for insisting he remove the mask(in pic above)during his performance .The  female fan repeatedly screamed at him to "take it [the mask] off.",and he grew annoyed and signaled at his bodyguards to throw her out..Then he said

'You can see my face on the internet every motherf***ing day. 'I came here, I open up a mountain... and you tryin' to tell me how to give you my art?"Do I look like a motherf--king comedian?" he shouted. "Don't f--king heckle me. I'm Kanye motherf--king West."

ASUU strike called off as the Union and FG finally reach an agreement.

After four months of protest, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, is ready to call off its industrial action.

The decision came after the Union signed a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, with the Federal Government on Wednesday evening in Abuja.

The Union was represented by its Chairman, Nasir Fagge, while the Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike, stood in for the government. Both confirmed the news to State House correspondents.
However, ASUU will address members of the press soon.

Teenager 'stabbed his grandmother to death and seriously injured his grandfather as they lay in bed after taking legal high.

A teenager who stabbed his grandmother to death and seriously injured his grandfather as they lay in bed was suffering a psychotic episode while taking former 'legal high' M-Cat, a court heard today.
Hull Crown Court was told there was no dispute that Lewis Dale, 17, killed Irene Dale, 78, and seriously injured her husband Allan, 80, with a kitchen knife as they lay asleep.
Adrian Strong, prosecuting, described how Dale attacked his grandparents as they were in bed at their home in Hull, in April.

 

Mr Strong said Dale was a user of the drug mephedrone which he said was also known as 'meow meow or M-Cat'.
He said: 'I anticipate that Lewis Dale will tell you that at the time of the attack on his grandparents he was suffering a psychotic episode as a result of his drug use.'

FG withdraws ultimatum to ASUU.

According to the Punch:

The Presidency said on Monday it was no longer interested in the December 9  deadline  it handed over to the striking university  teachers  to return to work.

Rather, it said it was satisfied with the lecturers’  level of compliance with  the  directive to them  to resume work or be sacked.

The Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Public Affairs, Dr. Doyin Okupe, said this while briefing journalists on the payment of the N200bn by the Federal Government into the “Revitalisation of Universities Infrastructure” account with the Central Bank of Nigeria.

In an interview with Crime Alert, the suspect confessed that he actually lured the innocent victim to his house and raped her to death.

“I forced her. I tried to use her through her private part but my own thing could not enter. I now turned her and she started shouting. I now held her well, well. I don’t want anybody to hear her voice. I now started using her through her anus. In the process of using her through the anus, she now shouted and I now held her back again, using her. In the process of using her, she now gave up.

U.S. President Barack Obama managed to upstage his own universally praised speech about Mandela Tuesday not once, but twice, with pictures taken in the stands at FNB stadium.

First there was a picture of Obama shaking hands with Cuba President Raul Castro. Then was the superpower selfie taken by Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt with a smiling Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron.

Photos : Justin Bieber Visits Philippine Typhoon Victims

 Justin Bieber visited victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines on Tuesday, giving out clothing, toys and basketballs to children at a local elementary school which is being used as an evacuation center.

The singer was seen hugging young kids and playing basketball with some of the older children in the devastated city of Tacloban.

He also played a concert for the children, singing Christmas songs as well as “Baby.”

A UNICEF coordinator told the Associated Press of Bieber’s visit, “Justin brought a lot of joy, hope and cheer to the hundreds of children who were there.”

The pop star previously launched a campaign to help raise money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

They were like well you want to come up, we can chill and drink up there. So we were like okay.

Boko Haram ambushes motorists, abducts four in Borno

Barely twenty four hours when some gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram sects ambushed motorists in Borno villages of Gwoza- Firgi- Ngurosoya federal highway, which led to the death of five passengers including one person on his way to Maiduguri to attend his brother’s wedding, another set of terrorists ambushed motorists along the troubled Maiduguri-Damboa- Biu road on Monday morning where they burnt down two trucks loaded with oranges and a Toyota hilux vehicles, after abducting the drivers to an unknown destination.

Our Correspondent gathered that the incident took place few kilometres away from limanti/ Bullabulin Ngarwa communities where series of deadly road attacks masterminded by Boko Haram sects took place in recent times.

Speaking to our Correspondent, a motorist/driver who escaped the attack, Mallam Musa Usman told our Correspondent in an interview that the incident occurred at about 9am on Monday, when some group of terrorists suspected to be Boko Haram in the process of crossing over the highway from their camps in Sambisa Game Forests met with some motorists on the road, barricading them, set all the three vehicles including a truck loaded with orange from Benue state ablaze.

ASUU strike: Chaos in UNIBEN as Union disrupts lectures [PHOTO]

Crisis broke out at the University of Benin on Monday as protesting members of Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, clashed with some lecturers of the school as they were holding lectures.

Some UNIBEN lecturers resumed academic activities today despite the on-going strike embarked on by the Union over disagreement with the Federal Government.

It was gathered that members of the striking union stormed the institution to stop all the lectures that held lectures in the University today. Eyewitnesses revealed that the ASUU task force disrupted a computer science lecture at the law Department of the institution.

The Union also clashed with men of the Nigeria Police who were invited by the Vice Chancellor of the university of Benin, Osayuki Godwin Oshodin to enforce the resumption.

Freeze CoolFM corners eLDee's position on BON/IBAN artists ban.

 
I'm sure you have all heard that several Nigerian artists have been banned by the Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria (BON) and the In dependent Broadcasters Association of Nigeria (IBAN) because of on-going dispute with the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON).

Last week rapper eLDee said regardless of the ban, their music will still reach its audience, and that the ban will only affect the radio stations (see tweet here if you missed it). Cool FM OAP Freeze this afternoon politely disagreed with eLDee's position. He believes that the already established artists will also be affected by the ban

 Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Franck Ribéry will fight it out for the title of the world's best player after Fifa announced its shortlist for the 2013 Ballon d'Or.

Messi has won the award in each of the last four years, while Ronaldo won the award in 2008 and has since been repeatedly placed second. Ribéry has had a sparkling year for the treble-winners Bayern Munich.

Gareth Bale did not make the cut from the 23-man longlist despite scoring 26 goals for Tottenham last season before becoming the world's most expensive player when he joined Real Madrid for €100m in September.
