South Africa unveils giant Nelson Mandela unity statue in Pretoria (PHOTOS)
Reuters – On a public holiday dedicated to reconciliation, South Africans have started to come to terms with the loss of Nelson Mandela, unveiling a giant statue to honour his struggle for equality.
A day after the democracy icon was buried with full honours in his boyhood village, a nine-metre bronze likeness was unveiled on Monday on the lawns of the Union Buildings, the seat of government in Pretoria.
This is where generations of apartheid heads of state signed many of the racial laws Mandela spent most of his life fighting against, but also where he was inaugurated as South Africa’s first black president in 1994.

Wizkid Gets Into A Fight With Wande Coal At GTB Concert.
The eagerly anticipated Guaranty Trust Bank End of the Year party held last night, and it lived up to the bar, except for one minor flop: Wizkid.
Social media was littered by fans who complained about the Star Boy artiste’s performance, who were disappointed because the organizers had saved the best for the last.
Wizkid had come on stage in a stoned state, clearly not in the right frame of mind to perform, with fans saying he did “more talking than singing”, and that “people stopped dancing when he came on”.
The other performers were on point with the likes of Flavour, Wande Coal, and Olamide giving the crowd a swell time, up until Wizkid came up.
The organizers were obviously not pleased with Wizzy’s performance, and the Star Boy reportedly worsening matters by getting in a fight back stage with Wande Coal.
There seems to be a lot going on in Wizkid’s life at the moment, as many blogs report he has broken up with girlfriend Tani Omotayo, and last night’s horrible episode may be in some way related to it.
Whatever it is, we hope he gets his act together, and soon.

Guy Shares His 'Encounter With A Ghost' Story
I am not so sure how to put this, but I have been very terrified since waking up at 4:21am. I feel I was haunted, I feel my room is haunted.
I feel there's been a paranormal activity in my room.. I am 18yrs old, and here's my little story to share.. I know well about sleep paralysis, but this is something really strange, as I have never seen a thing like this..
So I was asleep, during my rapid eye motion, I was just dreaming.
I dunno if something was trying to give me a sign - in my dream, it was me and a girl, we were walking down the street, then we passed a place were idols are kept, then all of a sudden I woke up from my dream.
I couldn't see a thing in my room, because my light was off, and it was pitch black in my room, then all of a sudden, I heard something drop on the floor.
So I thought it was just some pest running in my room, but no, the sound increased, and things were dropping in rhythm, then it felt like someone was vomiting in my room, I couldn't see a thing.
I thought it was my brother, because he was playing game in my room before I slept.. I called at my brother's name "Eseosa", I called again, there was no answer, and the sound kept on..

Hafiz Oyetoro Aka “Saka” Turns Down President GEJ's Appointment Offer.
Hafiz Oyetoro also known as Simply Saka has turned down the appointment given to him by his excellency, President Goodluck Jonathan as one of his ministers.
Saka is said not to be happy with Mr President because he has not improved the lives of many Nigerians who really needed the help, but rather than helping the needs, Nigerian government is adding to those who are absolutely living better.
Though, this act is very rare in this nation. According to Saka’s tweet on his twitter account last September 14th,“Please ignore any rumour of me being made a minister. Yes, president GEJ called me and I declined for personal reasons”.
This tweet was retweeted by a Lagos based stand up comedian, Omobaba that same day.

Reports have confirmed that the Odom's four years marriage is finally about to end as Khloe has made up her mind to file for a divorce as well as change her name from the usual Khloe Kardashian Odom to just Khloe Kardashian.

In the legal docs, filed by disso-queen Laura Wasser, Khloe cites "irreconcilable differences."
And Khloe is asking the judge to take Odom out of her name, so she is once again simply Khloe Kardashian ... eliminating Odom from her life in every way.
And, Khloe is not asking for spousal support and wants the judge to reject any bid by Lamar for the same, TMZ reports.I feel really bad about this story oh! Cause I really loved them together, they seemed like a match made in heaven. How couldn't they pull through with this one though? What do you all think?
