Mountain of Fire begins crusade to close all beer parlors in Lagos.

A crusade to shut down beer parlours, reduce crime and depopulate the kingdom of darkness in Ogba area of Lagos, western Nigeria, is underway, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, MFM, said at a press conference on Sunday.

“We want to close down beer parlours in Ogba environment. We want to convert beer parlours into our praying centres,” said Pastor Aderemi Oseni, the Regional Overseer of MFM Region 32 Ogba, Lagos, who addressed journalists in his church.

“At the end of this crusade, the kingdom of Satan would have been completely depopulated,” he said, adding that the crusade will take place between 19 and 21 December at MFM Regional Headquarters at 9, Ajayi Road, Ogba.
Sensitization campaigns have already begun and a march around Ogba area took place on Sunday.

Oseni said crime had skyrocketed in Nigeria and MFM was ready to assist the government in reducing it in Ogba area.

Few days after they were spotted together, entertainment insiders have revealed the secret behind Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji and singer D’banj sudden appearance together.

Just like On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa who said she get paid to attend events, sources in the know said the former lovers get big cheques to attend events together as a couple.

Few years back, Genevieve and Dbanj dated each other but the romance later collapsed over irreconcilable differences thus, they have resorted to getting paid a ‘couple appearance fee’ for any event they attend.

The security situation in Rivers state Nigeria is getting porous by the day as an explosive device (IED) was thrown at the Deputy Governor, Tele Ikuru’s administration block in the wee hours of Tuesday Dec 17, 2013.

Though the Deputy Governor survived with no injury, the bomb explosion caused some damage to the building.

There has not been any official statement yet but Mr. Godswill Jumbo, the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor confirmed that an incident like that happened, adding that he would issue a statement later.

Some facts are also emerging that the fire that engulfed the old section of the Mile One Rumuoji Market today may have been caused by an explosive device thrown into the stores in the market.

Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, the state Commissioner of Information and Communications, said that arson was not ruled out in the burning of the market as explosions were heard in some parts of the state capital the previous night.

Ibimi said the explosives might have been aimed at the market.

Professor Wole Soyinka’s Daughter Moves To Port Harcourt

Few weeks ago, it was reported in magazine headlines that a particular South-South governor is under investigation for an alleged extra marital affairs in his household

Yesterday, the story pointed to Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi. The unconfirmed rumour disclosed that the governor has impregnated the daughter of Professor Wole Soyinka and that she is set to put to bed any moment from now.

According to the report, the expectant mother has been living in the Government House for sometime now.

Governor Amaechi is considering the intention of taking Soyinka’s daughter as his second wife at the height of the domestic problem with his wife Judith.

Mrs Judith Amaechi ran overseas to avoid his abusive husband and that may have been the opening for Soyinka’s daughter to have a firm grip on the Rivers state governor.

Behind every rumour is a fact. Please do not take this story seriously, it’s an unconfirmed rumour for now.

Before we start blaming him, keep in mind that this story may be the handiwork of his political opponents.

South Africa unveils giant Nelson Mandela unity statue in Pretoria (PHOTOS)

Reuters – On a public holiday dedicated to reconciliation, South Africans have started to come to terms with the loss of Nelson Mandela, unveiling a giant statue to honour his struggle for equality.

A day after the democracy icon was buried with full honours in his boyhood village, a nine-metre bronze likeness was unveiled on Monday on the lawns of the Union Buildings, the seat of government in Pretoria.

This is where generations of apartheid heads of state signed many of the racial laws Mandela spent most of his life fighting against, but also where he was inaugurated as South Africa’s first black president in 1994.

Why Rihanna is reportedly beefing Beyonce over surprise album drop.
