South Africa unveils giant Nelson Mandela unity statue in Pretoria (PHOTOS)
Reuters – On a public holiday dedicated to reconciliation, South Africans have started to come to terms with the loss of Nelson Mandela, unveiling a giant statue to honour his struggle for equality.
A day after the democracy icon was buried with full honours in his boyhood village, a nine-metre bronze likeness was unveiled on Monday on the lawns of the Union Buildings, the seat of government in Pretoria.
This is where generations of apartheid heads of state signed many of the racial laws Mandela spent most of his life fighting against, but also where he was inaugurated as South Africa’s first black president in 1994.
Why Rihanna is reportedly beefing Beyonce over surprise album drop.
Beyonce took fans by surprise when she released a 32 track album on
iTunes which has now made history as the fastest ever iTunes seller with
more than 800,000 downloads in 3 days.
One person is reportedly angry about this and this is Rihanna. Reports
claim she is furious that Beyonce intentionally tried to upstage the
video for her No1 hit with Eminem Monster. Her video is dropping today
but its no match for Beyonce's whooping 17 videos.

“Rihanna and Beyonce have always had a very cordial [relationship], but they are definitely competitors,“I think Beyonce is jealous of Rihanna. First there were those Jay Z [affair] rumors, and lately people are acting like Rihanna [is] the top girl in the game. . . . You all know that Tonto Dikeh never liked Mercy Johnson for any reason, because she has never for once said anything good about her, she cant even hide the fact that she doesn’t like her.

Wizkid Gets Into A Fight With Wande Coal At GTB Concert.
The eagerly anticipated Guaranty Trust Bank End of the Year party held last night, and it lived up to the bar, except for one minor flop: Wizkid.
Social media was littered by fans who complained about the Star Boy artiste’s performance, who were disappointed because the organizers had saved the best for the last.
Wizkid had come on stage in a stoned state, clearly not in the right frame of mind to perform, with fans saying he did “more talking than singing”, and that “people stopped dancing when he came on”.
The other performers were on point with the likes of Flavour, Wande Coal, and Olamide giving the crowd a swell time, up until Wizkid came up.
The organizers were obviously not pleased with Wizzy’s performance, and the Star Boy reportedly worsening matters by getting in a fight back stage with Wande Coal.
There seems to be a lot going on in Wizkid’s life at the moment, as many blogs report he has broken up with girlfriend Tani Omotayo, and last night’s horrible episode may be in some way related to it.
Whatever it is, we hope he gets his act together, and soon.
