Zimbabwe’s President Falls Down At Airport

Zimbabwe’s President, Robert Mugabe on Wednesday, February 4, fell down a group of steps after arriving in the country from Ethiopia.




According to witnesses, he was quickly lifted up by aides and rushed to his limousine which then drove away.
90-year-old Mugabe had addressed his supporters from a podium at the Harare International Airport but when he made to leave, he missed a step and fell, The Associated Press reports.



Some journalists who took photos of the fall were reportedly forced to delete them by security personnel.
Mugabe had visited Ethiopia for the African Union (AU) heads of state summit during which he was elected Chairman of the body
