German Mario Götze scores Argentina to second place

After a goal-less 111 minutes of play, Mario Gotze who came in as substitute made ease the tension filled hearts of German supporters as a cross reaching him from Chelsea's Schurrle was brilliantly rolled into the back of the Argentine's net at the 112th minute. 1-0 it remained from that moment in favour of Germany until the referee's whistle called it off for the Brasil 2014 world cup. History is made today as Germany wins the world cup for a record four time.
