After nine years and 6 children together, Hollywood couple, Brad Pitt, 50 and Angelina Jolie, 39 tied the knot secretly at Chateau Miraval in France, the property they own.
According to their spokesperson, Jolie reportedly walked down the aisle with her eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, by her side; while her daughters Zahara, nine, and Vivienne, six, threw petals, and Shiloh, eight, and Knox, six, served as ring bearers.
Angelina acknowledged that she understands people care about her wedding. ‘It matters to us in a very private way. But we also understand that we’re public people.’
Before exchanging vows, the couple got their marriage license from a California judge who also conducted the nondenominational civil ceremony in France.
In attendance were Brad’s brother Doug Pitt, sister Julie Neal and their respective families.
After a short family honeymoon in Nice, the families headed to Malta on Wednesday to shoot By The Sea, a film written and directed by the Oscar-winning actress and the second in which they both star.
Although the plot is yet to be revealed, there are claims that the couple will play husband and wife in the flick, which is set to be released sometime in 2016.
The couple are no strangers to marriage; second marriage for Pitt, who was with first wife Jennifer Aniston for five years, and the third for Jolie, having previously been married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
