The abduction of Iniokpoemi makes it three high profile kidnap in the state within the last two weeks,
armed men struck in Bayelsa State and abducted Mr. Iniokpoemi Benson, the younger brother to the Bayelsa State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Kombowei Benson.
Iniokpoemi, who was the immediate past Chairman of the Community Development Committee (CDC) of the Korokorosei Community in the Southern Ijaw Local Council Area was kidnapped at about 3am yesterday.he was taken away from his residence, opposite the community waterfront by the armed men who came in a speedboat.
A source confirmed that the community was woken up by the sound of gunfire and added that everyone stayed indoor for fear of being shot
