Ogun State Postpones School Resumption Over Ebola
The Ogun State Government yesterday announced the indefinite postponement of the resumption date for all primary and secondary schools in the state. The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Segun Odubela, made this known in a press statement where he attributed the postponement to the deadly Ebola disease.
“Due to the current global health challenge occasioned by the deadly Ebola disease, the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has postponed the resumption date for all public and private primary and secondary schools earlier scheduled for September 15, 2014 to a date to be announced later,” the commissioner said.
