30 Year-Old First Class Economic Graduate Shot Dead By A Police Man

Moses Murtala Aminu, a 30-year old first class Economics graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, was shot dead by a police constable.

Moses had left his house for a party in Barnawa, Kaduna where eyewitnesses said the police constable was beating up Moses' girlfriend outside the party venue.

As Moses tried to intervene, the constable reached into his pockets, retrieved his gun and fired, killing him instantly. The constable then shot again - into the air - and fled by motorbike.

The constable has been tracked down and arrested by Barnawa Police Division officers.
