The Golden State Warriors are moving their arena eight miles west of their current location in Oakland, to a space in San Francisco known as Mission Bay.
Today, a new and improved design has been unveiled and to the delight of Warriors fans it doesn't resemble a toilet, urinal, or other bathroom fixture.
Earlier this year, preliminary images of the proposed 18,000 seat arena surfaced on the internet, and it looked exactly like a giant toilet bowl, though the Warriors assured fans that the design was still a work in progress.
The team plans to begin construction by next Fall, and their goal is to have the arena completed in time for the 2018-19 season. The new plans will be proposed to the Mission Bay Citizens Advisory Committee on Thursday
