U2 is set to headline the event, lead singer Bono was recently in a bike accident which has forced him to withdraw from the show. The band will be lead by Bruce Springsteen and Coldplay's Chris Martin in his absence, but the real draw will be a performance from the always entertaining Kanye West, who will likely get a more prominent set now that Bono's bowed out.
If you're live in New York, you probably avoid Times Square at all costs, but tonight may be an exception.
