Zimbabwe's President Appoints New VP

President Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe has appointed two new Vice Presidents after the sack of former VP, Joice Mujuru.

Mujuru was sacked by Mugabe on Tuesday, December 9 after he branded her a witch and accused her of plotting to unseat him.

The 90-year-old President announced the new appointments on Wednesday, December 10, and added that the two new VPs would be sworn in on Friday.

Mugabe named Minister of Justice, Emmerson Mnangagwa and former diplomat Phelekezela Mphoko as his new deputies.
