Movie marketers threaten to blacklist Mercy Johnson
Now there are two sides of this story which I've heard, wonder which is true, but hey, my job is to give you the amebo, so I'll just tell you guys both stories...
First I heard that the movie marketers under the Film and Video Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria, FVPMAN plan to blacklist Mercy Johnson Okojie in what they call "withdrawing of service from her" due to the "unbecoming attitude of the actress as it affects her work"
They accused her of forming the habit of disappearing while on location after she has been paid for the job and also giving them difficult conditions. The marketers have also vowed to sanction any member who disregards the association's decision to blacklist the star actress.
The chairman of the association further advices it's member to release all the films featuring Mercy Johnson on or before January 2014.
Then the second story I heard is that the association plans to blacklist the start actress because her charges are pretty high. The star actress is currently the highest paid in the movie industry, she charges between 1.8 and 2million actress whereas other actresses like Ini Edo charge between 700k and 1.2million.
