National Assembly May End Jonathan, govs’ immunity

According to reports, There are fresh indication that the immunity clause that bounds top government officials from prosecution may eventually be scraped.
the House of Representatives approved the removal of the clause from the constitution after it was recommended by the Committee on Constitution Review.





The proposed review was said to have scaled through as 252 of the 261 house members voted in support of it. The amendment is said to be awaiting the approval of the senate with many believing taht its approval is unlikely.
